Chris Froome Driven off Road

Three time Tour de France winner Chris Froome posted a tweet this morning saying that he had been 'rammed on purpose by an impatient driver' while out for a training ride in France. He says that he is okay although his rather expensive bike has been badly damaged or 'totaled' as he put it. The driver kept going and did not stop.

Zwift, the virtual cycling platform has just released a short film about Matt Hayman’s epic journey to win last year’s Paris Roubaix.

He famously broke his arm at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad six weeks before Roubaix. He trained intensely on his turbo, using Zwift to help motivate and engage him and went on to win the famous Monument.
