Bianchi of Marco Pantani, Tour de France 1998 Print

from £65.00

Artistic Medium: Oil-on-Canvas

This Bianchi was the machine used by Marco Pantani to win the 1998 Tour de France. Arguably the most iconic bicycle of the "aluminium era", sandwiched between decades of steel frames and the future dominance of carbon fibre, it married Bianchi's famous "celeste" colour with the yellow of the Tour winner, perhaps by chance more than design. Adorned with Campagnolo components, it was a fitting tribute to the rider who piloted it so memorably to the Giro-Tour double in 1998. Painted in fine detail with exquisite brush strokes that highlight the beauty of this machine.
