Third Cyclist Killed in a Month

#ldntrafficdeaths

Cycle safety campaigners will stage another "die-in" on Friday night to keep up pressure on the new London Mayor after a third cyclist was killed in less than a month.

Father of three, Dan "Cash" Stephenson was an experienced BMX cyclist. He was hit by a Routemaster bus on Saturday while out on a charity ride in Aldwych and died in hospital on Sunday night.

Other cyclists being remembered at the City Hall vigil are Christopher Hope and Magda Tadaj who died on May 15th and 23rd.

Seven pedestrians also lost their lives on London's streets in the last month. To mark these deaths, for the first time, four groups are coming together to remember these people who have so unnecessarily lost their lives on London’s roads.
